ABOUT THIS PAINTING

This loose watercolour study, titled “Storm”, captures the raw energy of waves breaking in the shallow waters by the coastline. Deep shades of blue and green flow together, punctuated by rolls of white spray achieved by applying wax to the blank canvas before laying the paint. The distant cliffs lend depth to the misty, spray-filled atmosphere, while faint glimmers of light suggest the storm may be softening…

The painting is elegantly showcased with an off-white border, set within a high-quality solid wood frame finished in a rich walnut stain. The screen is made of shatter-resistant acrylic, offering superior clarity and UV protection.
