ABOUT THIS PAINTING

These two miniature paintings present an expressive storm of turquoise watercolours accented by dynamic splashes of white ink - it is a mixed-media study.

The abstraction evokes the energy of crashing waves and wind-driven sea spray beneath a brooding, stormy sky.

The study is not intended to portray realism, but rather to explore the fluid transitions and movement between watercolour and ink

Both canvases are beautifully presented with a crisp white border and enclosed in minimalist white frames, creating a clean and elegant look.
