About the original artwork

This contemporary piece exudes an ethereal atmosphere capturing the essence of a solitary poppy amidst a vibrant green field at sunset. Feel free to interpret the painting in your own way, as it integrates elements of both realism and illustration. The inspiration for this work, originally in acrylic, stems from my own photography in West London parks, as well as from various other references.

Giclée

Giclée prints are highly esteemed and can be found in some of the world's most prestigious museums, art galleries and private art collections. They should be cherished and cared for just like an original piece of art. We strongly recommend purchasing giclée prints with the intention of framing them promptly to ensure optimal preservation. Given the delicate nature of the paint surface, even minimal handling can potentially damage the print. Therefore, it is advisable to entrust the handling to a professional framer. Additionally, it is important to note that all giclées have a natural tendency to curl. Prints at Schafernaker Art are sent flat in corrugated cardboard envelopes or boxes, and they are never rolled or sent in a tube. They are carefully protected in a cellophane sleeve and accompanied by a mountboard for added safety during shipping.
