About the artwork

This print is an accurate reproduction of an original acrylic piece on stretched canvas measuring 65x48cm. My inspiration for this artwork is drawn from fractal and rotational designs found in nature. In particular, I discovered a fascinating connection between the curled fronds of a young fern and the isobars of a cyclone on a synoptic weather map. To bring this concept to life, I utilised angled and sweeping brushstrokes, aiming to evoke a sense of depth and perspective in this elegant and contemporary piece.

Giclée

Giclée prints are highly esteemed and can be found in some of the world's most prestigious museums, art galleries and private art collections. They should be cherished and cared for just like an original piece of art. We strongly recommend purchasing giclée prints with the intention of framing them promptly to ensure optimal preservation. Given the delicate nature of the paint surface, even minimal handling can potentially damage the print. Therefore, it is advisable to entrust the handling to a professional framer. Additionally, it is important to note that all giclées have a natural tendency to curl. Prints at Schafernaker Art are sent flat in corrugated cardboard envelopes or boxes, and they are never rolled or sent in a tube. They are carefully protected in a cellophane sleeve and accompanied by a mountboard for added safety during shipping.
