ABOUT THIS PRINT
This is a 1:1 reproduction of an original watercolour painting (18 x 26 cm) featuring rough seas in Near Gale Force 7 winds (28–33 knots). The brooding sky features dense layers of low to mid-level cloud, with stratocumulus below and thick altostratus above with hints of virga ahead of an approaching weather front.
Tomasz is aims to complete a series of paintings depicting the entire Beaufort Scale, from Calm, Force 0 to Hurricane Force 12.
Two framing options are available. Each print includes a custom white mount and an elegant wooden frame, available in either a black or white finish, signed on the back.
GICLÉE
Giclée prints are highly valued and should be treated like original artwork. We strongly recommend framing giclée prints promptly to ensure optimal preservation.
Due to the delicate nature of the surface, even minimal handling can potentially damage the print. For this reason, it is advisable to entrust any handling to a professional framer. Additionally, all giclée prints have a natural tendency to curl.
At Schafernaker Art, unframed prints are sent flat in corrugated cardboard envelopes and are never rolled or shipped in a tube. They are carefully protected in a cellophane sleeve and paired with a mountboard for added safety during shipping.
