ABOUT THIS PAINTING
Nature is a profound source of inspiration for me. In this minimalist abstraction, I explore the similarities in the patterns between the unfurling frond of a young fern and the movement of isobars on a synoptic chart of a cyclone.
The lines and transitions of green have been executed entirely by hand with steady, sweeping, and angled brushstrokes on a sheet of canvas.
Photos have been taken under different lighting conditions to provide an average representation.
Ideally suited for a minimalist and contemporary setting.
