TEXTURE

The abstract attempts to mimic intricate ocean floor geology. Mediums and materials, such as sand, are manipulated to achieve exciting effects with translucent pigments. These abstracts have been evolving and are now richer with more texture and depth.

COLOUR

Artwork becomes “alive” in bright daylight. The blue and turquoise glazes appear particularly vibrant as light bounces off the textured surface. The painting is opaque in dim light (cloudy weather). Photos taken in different lighting conditions.

Note: computer screens often struggle to portray the true colour palette of physical artwork - particularly blues and greens.
