Minimalist, bold and elegant. Mediums and materials, such as sand, are manipulated to achieve exciting effects when combined with translucent pigments. The painting attempts to mimic the intricate geology of a shallow, tropical reef with hints of pink sand. These abstracts have been evolving and are now richer with more texture and depth.

Suitable for a bright location with natural daylight. Artwork changes in appearance depending on ambient light (location, time of day, weather). The blue and turquoise glazes appear particularly vibrant as light bounces off the textured surface. Painting becomes opaque in dim light. Photos taken in different lighting conditions.
